Okay, here is my blog post about 70 lb dumbbells for sale:
So, I’ve been hitting the gym pretty regularly, trying to bulk up a bit. I started with lighter weights, you know, the usual 10, 20, maybe 35-pounders. But I quickly realized I was outgrowing them. I needed something heavier to really push myself. That’s when I started looking into getting some 70 lb dumbbells.
First, I checked out some online stores, browsing through different brands. I saw some adjustable ones, you know, the kind where you can change the weight with some lock technology. They seemed convenient, but I wasn’t sure if they’d be durable enough. Then there were the fixed-weight ones, just solid dumbbells. Some were made of cast iron, others had a rubber coating. I also noticed the price difference between them. Some were more than 1000$! That made me confused, why the price range is so huge?
My Choices
- Found some CAP Barbell ones. They had a decent price and seemed pretty solid, with metal handles.
- Spotted some from Body-Solid, but they were way more expensive. Probably higher quality, but out of my budget.
- Came across some adjustable ones called NUOBELL. They looked cool, going from 5 to 80 lbs, but they were also pricey.
I also visited a few local sports stores. I tried lifting a few different 70 lb dumbbells to get a feel for them. Some had thicker handles, others had a textured grip. The rubber-coated ones felt nicer and probably wouldn’t damage my floor as much.
After a lot of comparing and considering, I finally decided to go with a pair of fixed-weight, rubber-coated 70 lb dumbbells. I found a good deal online, around $300 for the pair. They weren’t the cheapest, but they felt the best in my hands. I placed the order, and a few days later, they arrived at my doorstep.
I’ve been using them for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with my purchase. They’re definitely a challenge, but I can feel myself getting stronger. It’s a good feeling, knowing I made the right choice and invested in some quality weights.
To summarize, if you are going to buy dumbbells, you should first consider your budget, then choose the type you want: adjustable or fixed. Then, decide the material and weight you want. Then, compare the price and quality, that’s it. By the way, some dumbbells are sold by pair, some are not, be careful about that.
If anyone else is thinking about getting some heavier dumbbells, I hope my experience helps you make a decision! Hope you enjoy your workout!
