Okay, so today I wanna talk about something I’ve been doing lately – mixing up weights with my yoga routine. I know, it might sound a bit weird, but hear me out.
I started my day like I always do, with a bit of yoga. I put out my mat, the one I always use. It’s kinda old, but it’s super comfy. I did my usual routine of 5 Sun A and 5 Sun B, you know, just to get the blood flowing and get my body warmed up. As I do yoga, I also focus on my breath, trying to do that whole “pranayama” thing. It’s supposed to help you focus and calm down.
- First off, I did my warm-up, rolling out my trusty yoga mat. I’ve had this thing for ages, and it’s way better than those thin mats they have at the gym. More cushion for my knees, you know? Plus, it’s mine, so I know it’s clean. No laying in other people’s sweat, thank you very much!
- Then I did my usual flow, focusing on my breathing like my yoga teacher always says. Exhale on the push, inhale on the release.
- I had those weights ready on the side. After I finished my yoga flow, I moved to weights. I did some exercises, maybe around 4 exercises, I don’t really count, but it should be around 4 exercises in 14 sets and 5 reps each.
- And yeah, it’s a bit tiring, but you feel it, you know? It’s like you are working out all parts of your body, so don’t forget to bring your water bottle to stay hydrated and a towel, you will need it.
It felt good, maybe I will try the Plank tomorrow, mixing it with other exercises. I’m not sure yet, I need to learn more. It’s a nice experiment for me to do these days.
So, that’s basically what I did today. It’s no big deal, really, just wanted to share since I found it pretty interesting. Maybe you guys can give it a shot sometime. It’s a good way to spice things up, and it feels amazing afterward.
Alright, that’s it for my little workout story. Hope you enjoyed it!
