Okay, so, I decided to get an 8mm curved barbell. Let me tell you, it was a whole thing. I’ve always been into body piercings, you know, that little bit of edge, but I wanted something new.

I went in, and we started talking about what I wanted. I was pretty set on the 8mm curved barbell, but we still went over the details. Material was a big one. I ended up going with titanium. It’s a bit pricier, but everyone says it’s the best for healing and all that. Didn’t want to mess around with cheap stuff.
Then there was the whole gauge size thing. The guy at the shop, he was super helpful, explained it all. We settled on a 16g. Sounded about right – not too big, not too small.

He gave me all the aftercare instructions, you know, the usual – keep it clean, don’t touch it, all that jazz. I followed them to the letter. Didn’t want any complications.

Now, I’ve had it for a while, and I love it. It’s healed up perfectly. No issues whatsoever. It’s just the right size, fits great, and it looks killer. I tried different ball on it. But I perfer the original one.
All in all, it was a great experience. If you’re thinking about getting a curved barbell, I say go for it. Just do your research, find a good piercer, and take care of it afterward. You won’t regret it.
