Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this 6mm barbell thing, and I figured I’d share my little journey with you guys. It all started when I got this piercing, right? And the standard size, they told me, was like 10mm long and 1.6mm thick. But, you know, I’m not one for “standard” anything, so I started looking into different sizes. And the size of 6mm is not easy to find.
I found that it seemed like the standard size might not be the perfect fit for me. I mean, everyone’s different, and maybe my piercing wasn’t quite like the others. It’s a little bit shorter than the others, so I wanted to change it. So, the first thing I did was measure the one I had in. Just grabbed some calipers and measured the length between the balls. Easy peasy.
Found some smaller ones
Then came the fun part – shopping! I hit up a bunch of online stores, looking for something shorter. I saw some ads that said, “Up To 90% Off Your Purchase, Hurry Shop Now,” but I found that the one I want always has a higher price. Finally, I found some 6mm ones. I’m still looking for a 5mm one.
I ordered a couple of different styles, just to see what I liked best. When they arrived, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Ripped open the package and tried them on. Some were cool, some were… not so much. I think I found the right one, the length is perfect, but the design is not what I like the best.
Figuring out
After all that, I think I finally figured out what works for me. It’s not just about the size, but also about how it feels and looks, you know? I wanted to be cool, and I wanted to be comfortable.
So, yeah, that’s my story about finding the right barbell size. I might do some more shopping. It’s a bit of trial and error, but hey, that’s half the fun, right?
