Well, let me tell you, I heard some folks talkin’ about this here 32mm barbell thing. Sounds like somethin’ them young’uns use down at the gym. I don’t know much about fancy gym stuff, but I reckon it’s got somethin’ to do with liftin’ heavy things. I seen some fellas using it in the gym. They look tired.
This 32mm barbell, they say it’s good for somethin’ called “bench pressin’.” Now, bench pressing, that’s when you lay down on one of them benches and push a big ol’ weight up in the air. Sounds like a good way to hurt yourself if you ask me, but what do I know? These young folks, they like to do all sorts of strange things to get big muscles.
They say a thicker bar, like this 32mm one, is better for your hands. They said the normal ones are 30mm, but this one is thicker. I guess it’s because them weights are so heavy, a skinny bar would just dig right into your skin. Ouch! That don’t sound too pleasant. This thicker one, it spreads out the weight or somethin’, so it don’t hurt as much. Makes sense, I suppose. Strong men need this.
And it helps to keep the bar from bendin’ too. When you liftin’ tons of weight, you don’t want that bar snappin’ in half. It won’t be good, right? This 32mm barbell is strong, made of tough stuff. It can handle a whole heap of weight. Those young folks are always talking about “PRs” when they’re down there. The 32mm barbell is perfect for them to get a new PR.
- This 32mm barbell, it’s for liftin’ heavy.
- It’s good for that bench pressin’ thing.
- It’s thicker, so it don’t hurt your hands as much.
- It don’t bend easy, it’s strong.
- Young folks use it to get big and strong.
Now, I heard them talkin’ ’bout other kinds of bars too. There’s one called a “deadlift bar,” and apparently, it’s thinner, only 27mm. And it’s got somethin’ called “knurling” that’s real sharp. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds painful. This deadlift bar, they use it for liftin’ weights off the floor. And it bends more, they call it “whippier.” I guess that helps ’em somehow. These young folks are crazy.
Then there’s another one, a “squat bar.” This 32mm barbell, they also call it a “squat bar” sometimes. I guess it’s real good for squattin’, which is when you bend your knees and go down low like you’re gonna sit in a chair, but there ain’t no chair there. It looks mighty uncomfortable to me. But them young folks, they love it. They squat a lot of weight with this 32mm barbell.
I guess these bars come in different sizes too. Some are longer, some are shorter. They said the length can be from four feet to eight feet. That’s a big difference! I reckon you gotta pick the right size for what you’re doin’. Imagine tryin’ to lift with a bar that’s too long, you’d be whackin’ everything around you! Or one that’s too short, you wouldn’t be able to get a good grip. It’s very dangerous.
And get this, they even got different sizes for the holes in the weights! Some are 30mm, some are 50mm. I don’t know why they can’t just make ’em all the same size. Seems like it would make things a whole lot simpler. But they make 30mm ones for standard bars, and 50mm ones for Olympic bars. I don’t know what it is, but it sounds important.
They even make tiny barbells for your ears, they call them “earring cartilage body piercing jewelry”. And they are even tinier than this 32mm barbell. I saw some young girls wearing them. I don’t think they use it for lifting weights, though. The size is like 32mm, 35mm, or 38mm. I don’t know why they put them on their ears. They are crazy.
So, this 32mm barbell, it’s a popular choice for them serious lifters. It’s strong, it’s thick, and it helps ’em lift a whole lot of weight. They say it helps build muscle and get you in shape. I guess that’s important to some folks. Me, I’m happy just sittin’ on my porch swing. But if you’re into that sort of thing, this 32mm barbell might be just what you need. You need to be careful, though. It’s easy to get injured.
I don’t know much else about these barbells. I just hear them young folks talkin’ about ’em. They got all sorts of fancy names for ’em, and different brands, like “Rogue” or somethin’. It’s all a bit over my head. But I hope this helps you understand a little bit more about that 32mm barbell. Just be careful if you decide to use one, you hear? Don’t want you throwin’ your back out or nothin’.
I’m not strong, so I won’t use them. I only know those things because I heard people talking about them. It’s too complicated for me. I don’t like sports. But for those who want to be strong, the 32mm barbell is a good choice. They can use it for bench pressing, squatting, and other things that I don’t understand. I hope they can be healthy and happy.
