This thingy, the 12mm nipple barbell, it’s somethin’ ain’t it? Folks put it in their, well, you know where. It’s like a little bar with balls on the end, or sometimes other shapes. Seen some with hearts and sparkly bits. Fancy!
They make ’em from all sorts of stuff. Steel, they say, like what they make pots and pans from, but better. Shiny and smooth, so it don’t scratch ya, I guess. Some have gold on ’em, makes ’em look rich, but it’s just a coverin’, ain’t real gold probably. Don’t matter much, long as it don’t turn green on ya.
- Steel ones – good and strong, don’t bend easy.
- Gold lookin’ ones – fancy for showin’ off.
Now, the size, 12mm they say. That’s like, a little bit more than half an inch, I reckon. Seems small, but I guess it fits right for some folks. They come in different sizes too, longer ones and fatter ones. Gotta get the right size, or it won’t be comfortable, ya know?
Why folks put ’em in, I ain’t sure. Guess it looks nice, makes ’em feel somethin’. Like earrings, but, well, different. Some like to put sparkly things on ’em, little jewels and such. Catches the light, makes things shimmer.
Putin’ it in, that sounds like it hurts! They poke a hole, then put the bar through. Ouch! Gotta keep it clean too, or it’ll get all nasty. Wash it with soap and water, they say, just like you wash yer hands.
Seen some with arrows on the ends, instead of balls. Kinda pointy, don’t look too safe to me. But folks like what they like. Some have pineapples, can ya believe it? Tiny little pineapples! Who thinks of these things?
They say titanium is good, strong and light. But expensive, I bet. Like those fancy cars, all light and fast. For somethin’ that goes in your, well, you know, seems a bit much to spend all that money. But hey, if ya got it, spend it!
Some folks change ’em out, like changin’ clothes. Different colors, different shapes, different sizes. Keeps things interestin’, I suppose. Like paintin’ yer house a new color every few years. Gives ya somethin’ to look at.
Good ones are smooth and don’t catch on clothes. Bad ones can pinch and pull. No good! You want somethin’ comfortable, somethin’ you don’t even notice is there, ‘cept when you look in the mirror, of course.
So, this 12mm nipple barbell thing, it’s more than just a piece of metal. It’s a way to show off, to feel somethin’, to be different. Just make sure ya get the right size, the right material, and keep it clean. And don’t poke yer eye out with them pointy ones!
